Reminder: Minimum room temperature if you plan to be away in winter

Any residents leaving for a trip are asked to set their thermometers no lower than 60-65 degrees and leave the cabinet doors under the kitchen and bathroom sinks open, to be sure warm air can get to the plumbing. If your pipes freeze, you are liable for all related costs.

Fire Code Reminder: No items may be placed on the floor in the hallways at the Lynnwood (e.g., holiday/doorway decorations, doormats/rugs, walkers/canes, shoes/boots, plants, etc.). Door and wall decor (pictures, wreaths, etc.) are fine, with owner/landlord permission. Only those who live in the corner units, which do not open directly onto a hallway, may put decorations on the floor outside their doors. Laundry Room--Update

Laundry Hours: The daily times (M-Sat.) for reserving laundry room usage is now 5 a.m. to 6 p.m, which means the latest slot you can sign up for each day is the 4-6 p.m. slot. After that, and all day Sunday, the laundry room is available to residents on a first-come, first served basis. Message from Lynnwood Condo Association President Doug Anderson

The Lynnwood Condo Owners Association (LCOA) had its annual meeting on May 13, 2026, and discussed a number of topics. (See “Meeting Minutes” in the “Owners and Residents” section of this website.)

Two board positions were up for election.Treasurer Karen Pratt stepped down after 4 years service and Secretary Mary Sand stepped down after 2 years of service. Thank you very much for many, many long hours of volunteer work!

We welcome two new board members, Dan Cahalan and Jeff Keller. Both were elected unanimously by the Association.

Landscaping work is continuing along the Connell and Ronald sides of the building.
The work looks great so far, and will continue through mid-summer.

Various committees have been formed to coordinate a number of projects for the
benefit of the Lynnwood community. Some are continuing, such as the courtyard gardens, and some are short-term, like re-carpeting the two end stairways. There are several others, including landscaping, upgrading mechanical systems, and emergency lockout volunteers. If you would like to participate in improving your home, please contact a board member. Owners and renters are welcome.

A word about remodeling: If you are an owner contemplating remodeling, make sure that you review a copy of the Remodeling Policy before signing contracts or purchasing materials. Board approval is required for most work, so allow plenty of extra time.
