Reminder: Minimum room temperature if you plan to be away in winter

Any residents leaving for a trip are asked to set their thermometers no lower than 60-65 degrees and leave the cabinet doors under the kitchen and bathroom sinks open, to be sure warm air can get to the plumbing. If your pipes freeze, you are liable for all related costs.

Fire Code Reminder: No items may be placed on the floor in the hallways at the Lynnwood (e.g., holiday/doorway decorations, doormats/rugs, walkers/canes, shoes/boots, plants, etc.). Door and wall decor (pictures, wreaths, etc.) are fine, with owner/landlord permission. Only those who live in the corner units, which do not open directly onto a hallway, may put decorations on the floor outside their doors. Laundry Room--Update

Laundry Hours: The daily times (M-Sat.) for reserving laundry room usage is now 5 a.m. to 6 p.m, which means the latest slot you can sign up for each day is the 4-6 p.m. slot. After that, and all day Sunday, the laundry room is available to residents on a first-come, first served basis. Thanks to Board members Doug Anderson, Cynthia Wood, and Melody Cunningham, and also to Lynnwood resident Mary Meister, for decorating the lobby for the holidays. The beautiful quilt art was made by Mary Meister. Cynthia removed the worn lobby bench and will re-cover it this winter.

Nancy Kinsey, Kate Evans, and Susan Stubblefield for managing the Lynnwood library (in the laundry room, lobby, and game room). Thanks to these volunteers, several large-print books are now available iin the game room.
John Schaff for years of locking and checking all doors in the evening. Dorothy McPherson for years of unlocking the front doors in the morning, and Susan Stubblefield for stepping in to do this during the past year
Bette Cunningham and Kate Evans for taking care of plants in communal indoor spaces.
